Post-football career:
The trained butcher and graduate of a business school was, inter alia, sporting director at the Swiss first division club Grasshoppers Zurich until spring 2008. Today he is an in-demand keynote speaker at major functions and sporting events, and also works as a sports presenter for a number of television stations (including Eurosport, DSF, Sat 1, SF1 etc.). Karl-Heinz Riedle is a co-founder of TruStar AG in Switzerland. As an entrepreneur he is, inter alia, owner of the four-star hotel evviva!, an active recreation and conference hotel with integrated children’s football camp in Oberstaufen/Allgäu, Germany. Karl-Heinz Riedle is married and has three children. He has been an international ambassador for Borussia Dortmund since 2014.
